You mean to tell me EoS Luffy was the one who defeated Kaido and not Wano Luffy. So OP is done then :josad:
No but my issue is luffy defeated significantly nerfed kaido

But people of Wano think defeating kaido (fresh) is sword God level achievement.

Luffy isn't there yet only because of drawbacks of Joy Boy

But EoS when he truly masters Joy Boy and Zoro masters King of Hell they will be Joy Boy and Ryuma level.

Oda is just planting seeds by establishing narrative that Sword God and Sun God are same level.

How would the people of wano even know about the power of ryuma? we dont know also, this is just copium.

No this is Oda writing and telling us Joy Boy = Sword God and sword God can kill kaido.

People of wano are not real
Oda is and he's the one who created this story.

When Luffy truly becomes Joy Boy he can match Ryuma in strength just like zoro can.

Idk where the rock Science is
Its as straightforward as it gets.

Lets see
If Zoro wasn't there
Hiyori would have died.
Apoo would have killed luffy
Kaido would have killed Luffy
King would have killed sanji
Kaido would have killed every other samurai
Queens virus would have killed everyone including chopper Drake Hyogoro and bunch of samurai

All of that is very definition of moving the plot.

Defeating King kaidos right hand man is literally moving the plot because anyone else who stands a chance was busy.
Same goes for

Yamato - stall kaido otherwise Kaido kills everyone
Kid & Law - fight BM otherwise she kills everyone

The point is Zoro role in Wano is so bland and ordinary. He is supposed to do something special due to his multiple plotlines like Ebisu, Ryuma, Shitmosuki, Black blade, nidai, samurais, and his big talks. Wano is the land of Samurai after all.

In the end, he is just a fighter who helps save captain and fight the third strongest villian. That's it. No story around him like Sanji in WCI or Law in Dressora.

As now Zoro is my only reason to read OP, time to quit for me

But why didn't you clown them?
They were also saying Low > Luffy.

More Law fans were saying low > Luffy after punk Hazard than zoro fans say zoro > luffy.
I did clown them I wasn't on WG then I was on Reddit but Law fans got trolled badly back in the day. Especially when Luffy stopped Doflamingo's foot crushing Law it was pretty brutal to them

:milaugh:

Just how gin told us that his captain is the strongest man alive, or basically any random subordinate every 3 or 4 chapters, stop the cope.

Maybe Oda's consideration is not to give Zoro too many complex backgrounds, but to become stronger step by step
But my point is, Oda DID give Zoro those elements. He just (seemingly) dropped them.

If Zoro was just meant to be some random guy whose only dimension is getting stronger, then Oda shouldn't have given us 99% confidence that Zoro originates from Wano and is related to the Shimotsuki clan. He shouldn't have had Zoro make connections with the people of Wano. He shouldn't have included an entire speech about how people's wills/souls can be passed on through their swords, and then hand Oden's sword to Zoro. He shouldn't have made a character explicitly state that it was fate that brought Zoro to Wano. He shouldn't have teased us in Vivre Cards, SBS, magazines, or databooks about Zoro's connection to Wano and Ryuma. The list goes on...
