Keeping a loose alliance with the SHs would solve that. law is sensible. Why take the hard way when the easy way is available and as effective?

That goes against everything Luffy stands for. His friends dying for him and he wants to die on the journey to his dream.

But that can't be all there is to it for many swordmen in the story don't have Black Blades inspite of fighting in difficult battles such as Shanks and Roger. There's something Oda's omitting from us, and idk when we'll get a clear answer.

Mihawk has a black sword and the two you mentioned should also have one imo but I don‘t know why we don‘t saw one.

This could be like: Why we didn‘t saw any haki until Amazon Lily? I mean Luffy faced powerful opponents before like Crocodile and Enel, I‘m sure they could use CoA too.

What I want to tell is that Oda could wait for the black sword matter until Zoro becomes one.

yeah thats true, I hope too that Law will continue the alliance between Luffy because he helped him a lot and is since End of Marineford with him. He rescued his life, there is no bigger goodness.

I think Law should ally with Kid instead of Luffy.

1. The SHs are too OP at this point and they don't need as many allies anymore, especially someone as strong as Law
2. It fits Law's character. Law doesn't want to be Luffy's sidekick and given how strong and famous Luffy is, allying with Luffy will inevitably lead to people making this conclusion. Law wants to be in an equal alliance, Kid would therefore be a better ally as he is actually Law's equal.
3. It gives Law the opportunity to detach from Luffy and go on his own journey.
4. Both Kid and Law would gain great prominence from an alliance as combined, the two would basically be a yonko-level crew

Law and Kid is a more worse combo than Luffy and Law. Kid is too proud, at least the same level of stubbornness like Luffy and more aggressive than him.

Good points. I counter that Kid has no one in his crew that Law's crew could relate to. Kid has no one with a brain in his entire crew. Kid''s purpose is not about the will of the D or knowledge-that is what is driving Law.

Franky robin is the most likely robin ship, people just don't accept it because of Franky's design

I'm sorry to say, but as much more sensible this is compared to Law being Luffy's perma booty call, Luffy is Oda golden child so I don't see that happening at all. At most Law goes his seperate ways from everyone all together, but we shall see.

i think Law's consistent popularity with the fandom might change Oda's original plans. Law's tact (sorry but had to do it) and metered analysis complements the SHs approach.
