Oda not sparing a panel to show Kiku grieving seems ridiculous. Obviously it's been a weak and she cried off-screen but for such an emotional character to not be shown reacting to her brother's deaths seems strange. Kawamatsu was there, no issues, Oda could atleast show her thinking about it. It's a shame.

I think this is something that will be saved for the anime. Not saying that's a good excuse: we got multiple panels of Hawkings and Drake, but couldn't get a single panel of Izo and Kiku? But, I expect it to be touched upon more in the anime. I share your frustration. I love O-Kiku, and wanted her to get way more than this.

Her being in the bath doesn't bother me at all, it's the fact that it happened before any resolution over Izo's death. Hopefully Oda has something planned there.
