@Fujishiro my biggest concern with your game was having the mechanics of role revealing which basically were just about proven useless kagu even said I’m bp so I won’t die along with the ability to openly share the entire number of each faction 8 mafia and 4 indies that completely removes actual game solving and gives town and out and the We’re able to piece together some stuff I don’t honk they would’ve actually been able to do without that info.

Yes I agree, flavor stuff became a huge problem. As I said I shouldve had more anti claim mechanics in place to punish this like in the Wow game. That one had a role that would mass thread silence flavor claimers, becomes immune to them,etc.

That's part of it, but I also don't like abusing trust either. Sounds silly in Mafia maybe, but I'd rather fool someone that have them be wary but prey on their good nature. Like there is no satisfaction there, just ends up making me feel bad.

The thing is, people didnt seem to just trust me as a host. I balanced the game in a way that all sides had a chance to win. But I kept hearing people speak about Scum not dying when like half of them are naked defense wise, or just believing townie's words about being immortal and super bullet proof and rolling with it then complaining about it in their PM. Like for example they thought Flower/Prof/LM/Kagura ,etc were super bulletproof immortals when ther eality was they died to a papercut.

As for those so called strong town, there was 6. 3 of them had super bp elements and rest was BP. All of them weak to rolecrushes and roleblocks except for Adam but he was only BP. 2 of them were in your wincon to murder and chances are @Ratchet wouldve gotten one of them, I mean the last prey was a toss up between @Adam 🍎 and @Dr_Professor83 + someone else I forgot and I RNGed. Thats 2 town out of 3.

Anyways I digress.

People will always complain even about a perfectly balanced game. As long as you have a decent idea of what you're doing I wouldn't let the balance comments get to you as everyone still enjoyed it.

Though from how things played out it's just natural people would get the impression that there's too many protective abilities, perhaps just bad luck.
