I've been saying it for the longest, her showing in WCI was to
- establish her as a person to associate with the minks side of the alliance that werent just the Kings otherwise we just recruiting background fodder
- have an emotion anchor for when Pedro died, otherwise Oda wouldve had the straw hats weeping for a guy they didnt know all that well, she was the justifiable saddness
- And finally to showcase the Sulong transformation which had only been talked about prior to that
For @CarrotForNakama to be such a storyteller and "analyst", he really didnt understand the concept of "show, dont tell"
Carrot is an established character who had moments where she really shined but he tended to take a character who is established to give life to a new group of people and go too far and put them with the main cast
and thats not saying Carrot wasnt a candidate for joining the crew, any character who is put in the spotlight is a candidate for discussion
but when he goes so far as to call others stupid for dissagreeing with expert "analysis", after everything he's claimed was guarenteed to happen based on his EXPERT analysis didnt happen
That is where he is wrong
Then proceeded to to back track and say nothing he said was actually a theory, only hypothosis, while also claiming Yamato isnt even remotely up fro discussion despite saying she wanted to join
And while there is nothing wrong with not believeing a character is going to join, He began to say that ppl argueing against Carrot are sexist, racist and began to associate his own person political biased with people who argued agaist him
DUDE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THIS IS A DISCUSSION ON ONE PIECE NOT A PLACE TO AIR OUT YOUR FRUSTRATIONS WITH THE CURRENT STANDING OF THE WORLD

Luffy said he wanted at AT LEAST 10 before entering the grandline
From an outside perspective there are cureently 10 Straw Hat Pirates counting the Captain but Luffy finding 10 means he has only recruited 9, also the "at least" part means thats the minium, I dont think that we're getting 30 more members but i dont think 10 is the limit
At most we'll probably get maybe between 12 and 14 (counting Luffy)
