Mate I can assure you I can get a full 30 players list by the end of the week end. And, again, while you were gone for a few months we managed just fine in organizing ourselves. People respected each others game and we were discussing when to start ours between ourselves. There hasnt been more than 1-2 games running concurrently, and if there were 2 they were alternating day and night phases.
Normally you put signups when your game is close to being completed.
Then another sign up thread would come up for the next game after that one.
Hosts can see the signup threads previously made and post their signup thread and start date accordingly. As long as the setup is almost finished.
That game would take priority before others unless another game filled up faster and the host didn't mind delaying it a bit.
So having a queue like this, although understandable, is not absolutely necessary imo.

You sure you can do if set the same start date as say, Aries' game? You believe the players would play with alternating with Aries' game and you wouldn't feel the need to make your game go later than his?
I think you're missing my point, Fuji. There's a lot more people trying to host now. Backlog will develop as a result of so many people wanting to hosts. This would occur regardless of whether or not this thread existed. Those months I was gone didn't have nearly the same number of people wanting to host.

I think you're the one missing the point, instead of going back to something like a backlog we just keep going with the system we have now, IE your game is done? Ask other hosts if theirs is almost finished or not then post accordingly. Not something arbitrary like a set date/month.
Thats my current issue here. We are old enough to coordinate between ourself without the need of a backlog. Its been working just fine for months, there is no need to change it.

I am which is precisely why I made that post. Not interesting in having 2 games running at the same time with alternative cycles. I mean if people are fine then hey it's their call. But it has to be mutual agreement between the hosts. Otherwise, one game at a time. Unless you host a small game.
Meaning, I ain't gonna host my game if there is another game happening period. It's not fair for the players to sit through playing mafia 24/7 it is exhausting. I want them to enjoy one experience at a time. So whenever I host my game, I won't be okay with other people hosting game at the same time as mine.
