I think people here are failing to acknowledge that Bobobo can just transmutate all of existence into Kryptonite and Supes is done for. He can delete Superman the second he feels any emotions. He can destroy the sun and remove Supes' source of power to begin with. Every single one of Bobobo's feats > any version of Supes except Superman Prime and even then it is only the physical feats where Superman Prime tops Bo. The problem for Superman is still the fact he cannot reality warp but Bo can. Bo is literally Mr Mxyzptlk on steroids and Superman has never found a way to beat him in a fair fight.
A general rule of thumb in powerscaling of any kind is that as soon as a character can reality warp, only fellow reality warpers with greater power can beat them one on one with rare exceptions but those exceptions will have powers like Multi-versal scale matter manipulation etc. not ooga booga I can take and dish out hard punches and lift planes. Even reversing the rotation of the earth which is Superman (not Primes) most impressive feat is meaningless in this discussion - it doesn't even register.
Anyway, the other thing in this thread I find concerning is people don't realize the whole point of Saitama is he is an ironic take on Shounens strongest characters and the whole point of his existence is nothing can or ever will be a threat to him. He is immune to all damage of any kind and all powers of any kind. includes the OPMVs literal 'God' equivalent. He is a God tier character and out of reach of 99.999999999999999999% of fiction, including any version of superman. Essentially Saitama is always as strong as he needs to be no matter who he fights, be it Bobobo, any of your weak ass versions of Superman or even guys like MAU Goku. Saitama just wins by default, that's how he works.
I was hoping we could deep-dive into characters like Lucifer Morningstar, Eclipso, the Marquis of Death, Zeno etc. to see if there were things I didn't know about these completely broken characters; not SuPeRmAn. Superman shouldn't even be in the conversation, not even close. If he were I wouldn't have made this thread.
So far we've seen just ONE suggestion that I know little about and am intrigued to know more about that actually answers the question
So what exactly can Umineko Witches do? Also which verse are they from?
Yours sincerely, someone who knows their shit about DC comics.
Absolutely not my dude
Let me put it this way:
Let's just use approximated Dragonball Powerlevels here for ease:
Every single form of Superman with the exception of Prime version has a power level less than 1 million or so. Prime superman gets surpassed by the time we look at characters like Buu, and while we don't know exact powerlevels for this, fanscalers put (and i generally agree) Buu's power in the low 10s of billions, or in other words over 1million times stronger than Superman.
Now, when we get to the Gods, again, we cant really quantify these power levels at all. But I'd wager it would take thousands of x the power Buu has to even come close to the Gods in the DB verse.
And yet in that entire verse only the reality warping Angels, Grandmaster and Zeno even have the powers equipped to not die instantly against Bobobo.
Superman of any version is such a stupid suggestion. He is MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of times weaker than Bo - i'm not sure people can even visualise it. Bo's been hit by attacks that destroy universes and lived. Superman is not even an ant to Bo.
Bo is permanently prepared for any fight he will ever face and can alter past events to do this - he can even use Ganeme to turn Cosmic Armour etc. into sunglasses and completely depower superman. He is immune to all abilities that effect humans if he transforms. He can summon a character more powerful than Superman. He has speed feats that put him at over 3500x light speed while not using his max speed, whereas only a few versions of Superman register on the light speed scale at all.
I stg, whenever people mention Superman they just assume he wins and say so. Most versions of Superman would sit fine in the One Piece verse and wouldn't even reach the top tier characters. The few exceptions don't even scale to Nappa in DBZ and the even fewer exceptions that do are still magnitudes of billions beneath Bobobo. Superman doesn't auto-win against these characters.
Or to put it another way:
Any version of Superman that is not prime stops being a threat as soon as we reach planetary level characters, and may I remind you Bobobo punched through the sun and this was one of his first battles in the story when he was 1000s of times weaker than he is by the end.
Prime however stops being a threat when we bring any form of reality warping powers into consideration and again, Bobobo has numerous reality warping feats. Some are on universal scale. Dude literally changed the laws of physics and the dynamics of life and death in a universe his opponent created because he thought it was funny!

Lol Bleachtards would say “Yhwach would win”. OT: Many Shonens get decimated. The only verse that might compete due to hax is Medaka Box. Other than that, only extremely powerful characters that see dimensional constructs as fiction like Umineko Witches would be able to beat him.

If we can choose any version of Superman, well Superman wins since he's got Cosmic Armor / Thought Robot mode.
