Dafuq bro? I almost did a spit take when I read this shit lol.
Fujitora, the same guy who intentionally made sure his marines did nothing so that Luffy and law would receive the credit for taking down Doflamingo, and not the marines? That guy makes sure the marines don’t need help from criminals? Lol
Fujitora, the guy who publicly shamed himself via his apology to King Riku for the whole world to see? That guy is prideful???
Send some of that alcohol my way lmfao.
Following absolute justice, taking credit for others, doing as you're told by the World Government, and just mindlessly hunting down criminals without any application of context is not the only way to be a Marine lol.
@Bold, simply letting an ongoing conflict happen without taking part in it.. isn't receiving help from criminals my guy.
-> Not sure what this has to do with the Marines. This was his point against the World Government which allowed the Warlord System to exist and then continously overlooked the BS caused by the warlords. The result being fellow Marines not being able to take action. So what was his solution? Get Doflamingo defeated & then how the incompetency of the World Government, that allowed the people of Dressrosa to suffer.
-> Yes he publicly apologized to King Riku on behalf of the World Government, not the Marines. It was his pride as a soldier, as a marine... who's job is to protect the people. That led to him doing this:
He's making a statement, they the Marines who serve the people. Not the World Government's bitches. No man with pride wants to be given credit for shit they didn't do. His entire "abolishing the warlords" stems from his pride as a Marine.
This Marine officers talking about his actions righting the wrong that was done to them by the World Government. Other marines are taking pride in him, but he's not taking pride as a marine?
Is like the gangsta said if admittance of one mistake leads to you losing your face/trust/pride then my dawg you ain't had none in the first place. Taking a stance against the World Government for your fellow marines and so you could properly do your job as a marine isn't being a prideful marine? Come on bruhz.
Mans saying he don't need the Warlords, "scum of the sea" as Sengoku once put em. He don't wanna work with pirates who fuck up people's countries. Unlike the Fleet Admiral of the marines who supposedly hates criminals/pirates the most, but actually wanted to work with them.
This is the man who doesn't have any pride as a marine.. telling the Fleet Admiral of the marines who'd rather had Warlords continue to be under the WG... that yo TRUST The SSG, aka TRUST the Marines. But he lacks pride as a marine.. right.
Dude out here leaving lower ranking marine officers shook, by setting up correct on what a Marine's duty is. It's not to go around hunting down criminals, it's to protect the people. The former being a an action sometimes taken to achieve the latter. That's not a prideful marine?
This is a man who's been in the Navy for about a year or so and is leaving long time marines stunned due to his ideology and stance against the World Government as a Marine. Yea he could take down Doflamingo, which again doesn't solve the issue, instead only covers it up.
Idk how you can say the man who pushes for Marine self-reliance and independence the most so Marines can do their jobs properly is the one that doesn't take pride in being a marine. Especially when other marines are taking pride in him. Lowering your head for admitting the mistakes done by you higherups or even by you doesn't lower one's pride.
I think what you might've meant was he lacks arrogance or egotism as a marine. Cause pride def. ain't the thing he lacking.
