They are the same grade, but Enma has potential to be even greater.

Black blades are more rare, since there is only 2 of them yet it doesnt mean they are equal.

Example, a haki punch vs a haki punch doesnt mean they will the same.

It goes like this. Future Black Blade Enma > Black Blade Shisui > Enma > Shisui. Even at its strongest possible level, Shisui is only at the top of the 21 great grade level. Whereas once Enma becomes Black, it'll be considered amongst the Supreme Great Grade Blades (alongside Wado Ichimonji)

That means if swords are in same rank, black sword means it's the better one

Enma was never hyped to possess a crazy AP, it was rather the proficiency of its training. After all no haki was in all likelihood embedded in the sword from Oden.

Not a power up,a training tool.The power up was unlocking advanced COC(thanks to Enma).
Enma itself doesn't add any AP. to Zoro.I see a regular sword as semiauto firearm,Enma is fullauto firearm.It makes you waste haki faster.

Honestly after 1033 and it being about zoro going all out for enma i can only assume the real reason oda made zoro give up shusui was because it was a black blade ultimately zoro would of still got to this point even if he was on deaths door with shusui...oda wants him to make his own this arc if zoro had tapped into adv coc with ashura on the roof it would of hurt or killed kaido imo but thats just my hc lol

Oda also used it to give us more backstory of Zoro and ties to Kozaburo and his potential Shimotsuki lineage It's basically a sword forged by his own family. Shusui would have given Zoro a lot less trouble he would also have awakened coc as it was always dormant power Zoro possessed which awakened when he was pushed to his limits. The result would be the same regardless of the sword he was using.

Yes he would not a single character in the series needed a weapon to awaken their coc don’t see why Zoro would be the exception. the story doesn’t support that crap either Enma draws out the users CoA this only happens when you lack mastery of the blade. I put all the 21 great grade swords on the same level, if we had to pick one Shusui would easily be the best in it’s grade for the same reason Yoru is considered the finest sword among the supreme grade weapons

I think it's you guys who are coping you would rather invent bs abilities about Enma than give Zoro cred for his growth.
Enma will never be better than Shusui in it's current state we didn't make the grading system of these blades Oda did
It was even deriving it's hype from Shusui during it's intro for belonging in the same grade

This so called special ability is more of a nerf draining it's users haki

No bs abilities its stated in the story zoro said if he will master the sword he will be even stronger its u who coping bozo , you all dickriding black blade because its rate , it got no special abilities like enma , so until black blacks will have something special about them all u can do is cope because Roger doesn't have it and hes a haki master and shanks doesn't have it and hes a haki master as well. you call urself a zorofan but u dont even know kozaboro said that there are no cursed swords and the more powerful the sword is the more personally it got , no sword in the series was highlighted as much as enma , maybe in the future yoru will but right now no.
