But keep in mind, Oda never tried to rationalize Franky popping a wheels on Big Mom’s face, or Big Mom being defeated literally without Kid or Law using Haki at all, or dragon Kaido getting low diffed by the scabbards, or Kaido screaming like a pansy every time a mid tier attacked him, etc etc etc

They were going to be defeated at the end of the arc anyway, so need for that.
Which makes me even more confident Ryokugyu isn't getting physically defeated, fend off at worst. No need to bother protect Admirals prestige if one of them is going to eat his teeth 5 chapters later.
