Oda personally revises the script if things don't make sense. Whatever Shanks shows in the movie he can do in the manga.
Zoro being the only one strong enough to fight an Admiral while everyone else gets stomped by a filler character is canon.

Zoro hype is better ... if he fights good ... not like the last movie

cause I'm almost sure Shanks won't push himself to 50% here ... so ... of course he will do better in manga

So Shanks is very likely son of former Gorosei is being teased. You can see why Shanks has so much leverage within world govt and Gorosei didnt mind him arriving to reverie unattended .

We already saw Admirals run away from Shanks at Marineford, nothing new.

Kizaru was okay with weevil destroying an island but concerned about civilian life in movie.
