Their greatest accomplishment (narrative wise) was the haki being able to split the heavens.

Shanks, as a Yonko, was able to match Whitebeard the same way in their short standoff.

You can factor Whitebeard edging a win with his DF but Marineford Whitebeard loses with his body deteriorating in combat
