Kaido has never shown fear and its not in his character, he would likely wanna fight Shanks than back off. He was also alone with King.

For me, we should not use that offscreen no context event to powerscale, I am instead using the mountain of evidence we have that suggests that while Kaido viewed Shanks as someone who can push him to the max in a fight he still didnt think he would lose to him.

That's why an off-screen party by Oda is the most autist thing he does. I do understand that he couldn't show the reason Kaido backed down before his big fight but he should show it at least now. Ain't no way Kaido just backed down.

The one and only reason I'm willing to believe is that Shanks told him Ace is not Joyboy but that's only it. Hence why we need context on what happened there.

You know that there is a problem with this. I know Kaido's goal was to die in an over the top battle where everyone sees that but still Kaido never backs down from a challenge.

Your flaming dragon is creating carpets of flames as hot as magma that would simply cover the surface of the ground, burning and preventing any plants from growing.

Its rays also burn.

Yes that's what I'm saying though. The plant he regrew from was created prior to him getting attacked. This means if there are no plants, then he can't regrow.
I think that is why he creates plants just by walking. It gives him a good escape route

Fuji can probably coat gravity attacks with haki so it damage Sabo
We already seen that elemental attacks can be coated like Kaido’s blazing bagua or something more abstract (WB vibrations, Law’s amputate)
