Her physical strength & natural gifts are her only saving grace.
The difference between Kaido & Big Mom cannot get obvious enough the moment you compare their final moves: Flame Torch to Misery XDDD - an Island sized Magma Dragon form which clashed evenly for a while against Bajrung Gun vs an attack that Law slashed without even using his devil fruit.

BM literally knows how to use ACoA and ACoC. Her Haki mastery was already better than Ch. 1010 Luffy by virtue of sky-splitting alone. Don't confuse Oda's plot nerfs with her direct portrayal of Haki mastery.
