Calling Luffy and the others (the whole Alliance) clearly tells us Yamato already had figured the high level of threat Greenbull represented.
Momonosuke was simply trying to do things by himself without being carried by Yamato and Luffy 100% of the time, who carried his ass throught the entire arc basically.

Because you are talking rubbish. Shanks' crew being acknowledged as powerful doesn't equate to Shanks ganging up on people with his crew. He faced with his crew the entire marines, and the scuffle between the Red Hair Pirates and Kaido/King was off panel, so we cannot judge how it went. What we know though, is, that Shanks left his crew behind when walking on an enemy's ship, which happened to be a Yonko with his crew, casually knocking out his men in the process and clashing with said Yonko, while latter was fueled with meds and had access to his sky splitting Haoshoku.
The point was never about Aramaki in retrospective acknowledging that he could not take on the entire crew, but the entire page of him looking like a bitch, sweating, shivering and raising his hands to surrender, merely by Shanks' CoC affecting him from miles away.
