It’s baffling to me that in the midst of this cacophony nobody even payed any attention to the biggest revelation of chapter 1055. Greenbull, a full-on Admiral was effected by a CoC haki blast! Usually, from what we know, weak people lose conciseness due to weak will/haki power, strong people just get scared for a moment-and that’s it, CoC haki blast doesn't effect them. But for the first time, an actual Admiral, a true so called “top tier” was effected by a CoC haki blast. But not just effected, no, no, no he couldn’t even break out of his frozen state on his own, Shanks had to let him go. That’s a big deal to me, especially in 1v1 fights since Shanks can use it to freeze his opponent and strike him while he can’t do anything to avoid or black it. It’s truly a big deal… but the sheer fact that an actual Admiral was frozen by a CoC Haki blast until he was let go is even more crazier. If something like this happened to a Yonko, the entire community would go nuts. But because it’s an Admiral nobody even pays any attention! But the biggest surprising factor was the distance at which Shanks did it, I’d assume that in close distance the effect would be even stronger. And if Blackbeard is meant to fight and defeat Shanks, then he’s gotta have a strong CoC haki for sure.

What Shanks did was pretty insane. It will be interesting to see how the anime interprets the panel. Did Greenbitch hear what Shanks was saying?

My first thought was that this is what happens if a very skilled CoC user does something like this to another Top Tier who is completely off the guard.

So my thought was:

Unprepared fodder = K.O.

Unprepared Top Tier = momentary freeze.

Let's see where it goes from here, it's as clear as day Shanks will be meant to look like Roger of this era and he will be the master of CoC.

Although I'm afraid Oda will lose his mind and completely shit on what he established previously. I genuinely think the joke about "Haki bars" will no more be a joke.

This is why Greenbull is not top tier imo. No top tier is cowering in fear over another top tiers COC.
Some people want to blindly ignore this and claim that all admirals are equal but nowhere is that actually stated

Haki beams is a real thing. They called us mad men for saying Shanks is a hakiman.
