You have to understand they are playing the long game. Mihawk downplay is Zoro downplay indirectly.

If you look further back you'll see that the only thing I said about buggy was that mihawk and crocodile more than likely let buggy join them rather than the other way around but the wg overestimates buggy consistently and assumed he was the ring leader. But if you actually think either crocodile or mihawk would take orders from buggy you're out of your mind.

He’s not a fraud, but he’s probably not much stronger than YC1+/inbetweener.

I think Mihawk Vs Zoro is happening incredibly soon.
