Character Discussion Your favourite Luffy trio?

Water Seven ends up being their show with Usopp having left, Sanji MIA, Chopper present but not really actively participating and Robin disappearing and attempting assassination. Watching the three of them with their backs to the wall not sure of anything whilst trying to make decisions is fun. It underlines the way their characters play off each other really well. It also reinforces that Luffy tends to turn to them when he is unsure.
Best moment has to be when Luffy and Zoro get mad at Nami for being late to the Sea Train only to immediately back flip when she reveals that she got them food and booze.
Tragically most of their best and big moments come from the early years when Oda wasn't juggling such a large crew and arc cast. We are unfortunately a long way from those days now. Won't stop hoping that it comes back around though.

People don't like OG 3 because it's "cooler"
They like the contrast between Luffy/Zoro/Nami, it's not bout the number of cool moments.
Also it's literally a trio considering it is the one the manga started with, the one that meet Blackbeard and his crew and the one oda drew for chapter 1000 cover
i agree they haven't had much interactions in a decade, but idk why people liking OG 3 is such a problem

Zoro and Nami being the only two to have interactions among the crew woth a Yonko, how Luffy and Zoro were portrayed in Dressrosa and how Luffy and Nami were portrayed in WCI. How it was Luffy, Zoro, and Nami that held the direction of the crew in their hands at Zou when meeting with Pekoms.
