So blade shattering moment served to shock the audience. He COULD have used the "whos'who break his finger against Jinbe" again, but it would just be a repeat. The panel itself looked great and that's what should count.
if you're not getting. it.. I'm really using that to wank queen for breaking his blade on sanji and the Kyros comparison is where i highlighted Queen Yc2 strength and that he ain't merely kyros or hordy.. I'm not underestimating the dood who practically made A Yonko see stars with a head butt
Of course you can. It's One Piece. It we would take things seriously, no amount of "CoO" should allow anyone to catch characters like Enel or Kizaru. It's just a silly joke. pretty standard stuff
again not the point.. CoO point is a strawman the point is.. if it was a one v one where sanji knew Queen's ability he would have dodged it but plot had it he gets surprised Queen used that fact of ignorance of sanji of his abilities to catch him off guard to land his best move yet its again not a matter of out classing sanji and pushing him to surpass his limit kinda thing. and surprising isn't fair in a combat combat match.. and the reality is plot had it that sanji gets trapped by getting startled to make Queen look good bragging about how armament haki users can't do shit again Brachiosnakus.. you're gonna tell me that cliche jargon of OnePiece fans that "UGH zits One-piece Don't tEKk It SeriOuSly" what part of it is taking it seriously.. I'm just taking the fight for what it is.. PLOT HELPING QUEEN TO LOOK GOOD IN THAT SPECIFIC MOMENT.. no amount of people repeating that jargon would change the fact that Queen had to surprise Sanji to lad a blow.. and that is what plot did to queen.. No amount of that jargon is even changing the fact that Queen didn't catch sanji because he outclassed him but rather he used what many would call it underhanded approach and the example you give is a misinterpretation of how Kizaru and Enel's "speed works".. they don't travel at their elemental speed they materialize in their elemental state .. and once they do they are easy picking. like bruh its "OnePiece" and people literally predict future with CoO so what... stop over using just to deny that Queen actually was Carried by the plot..
- Sanji not using existing PU
- Sanji's body is acting up
- Sanji get startled by Queen's shenanigans
- Sanji isn't even being pushed
If you put things like that, DJ would be redundant against Jabra. The battle had the same type of vibe Sanji vs Jabra had. a bunch of trading blows, but with Sanji eventually getting overpowered. Then comes the fire kick to obliterate the opponent.
Jabura fight is different in certain other ways .. it didn't have the plot being desperate to make Jabura seem worthy.. Jabura actually used sanji's weaknesses against Him.. which was sanji's inability to fly to subdue sanji and his tekkai .. and he wasn't regurgitating blood on basic attacks then following that up by getting whooped by a powerup.. he was physically intact and not seemingly weakened against DJ sanji it was just the matter of breaking his tekkai.. it didn't make DJ seem redundant more...
On the other hand Queen is getting consistently damaged and has no defence like tekkai to defend him and the damaged starts culminating to the point where he's basically defenseless.. what makes IJ redundant is the state in which queen was there wasn't need for a PU when Queen already so vulnerable.. its was an overkill
At least DJ against Jabura was presented as a catalyst that nullifies tekkai and presented that value to the fight.. even if like some argue sanji could have broken it through sheer strength but thatd not required coz now he had DJ.. well Queen didn't have tekkai or anything that IJ would be presented against and to be measured against.. DJ came in as an technique that breaks durability of Top Cipher Pol 9 dogs.. and
What did IJ bring to the table... bullying and already near beaten and vulnerable fatso?
Dj had more narrative meaning than IJ
This all plus knowing that Sanji didn't use his base DJ buff he showed in the prior arc.. doesn't that add to IJ's redundancy?
TThe point of this is Queen didn't present a standard that out classed sanji in such a pivotal arc.. or forced him to up his haki game in either aspect.. CoO or Coa.. it just presented a PU that has only story value in the moment coz the dood sanji has already asserted that he has surpassed zoan durability without any PU potency.. and also skipping a PU at that like bruh Jabura's case wasn't even this pitiful where sanji skips a PU.. on someone who's near beat like never did sanji's base kicks elicit same reactions from Jabura bruh
idk what else is it gonna take to prove just how much of an overkill IJ was..
Sanji was never "cooking queen". They are trading blows. Even with exoskeleton, Sanji got hit by the Germa Combo from Queen still. In a battle of attrition, Sanji would lose. Queen has an Ancient Zoan fruit, which is hyped for its endurance capabilities. Just because Sanji managed to hit Queen a few times, doesn't mean he was winning
lemme just ask you this... When was sanji at a disadvantage if he wasn't winning.. when did it look like he was outclassed
when did it look like he's using his Pu in every attack he executed before iterating literally what buffs he is about to use in Ifrit jambe
and battle fo attrition you say.. this guy endured getting shattered and squished having his figure disfigured.. and he hasn't the endure to outlast an Ancient Zoan? who he can already wither down with based DJ attack with NO POWEUP
How can you think Sanji "didn't surpass" queen's abilities?
i never said that.. i basically said Queen didn't push sanji to develop by out clashing him
I basically meant.. sanji already outclassed him, and now with the Powe up in Durability,
Correction its already proven that sanji was able to by lass queen's defence... its the same shitck like Jabura where sanji's kick affect him and are kind of overwhelming him but he's putting up a strong from.. we know that becuz.. Queen later is whining by most basic attacks in sanji's arsenal.
