Lucius. He's the ultimate strategist and ultimate villain.

He baits all of them to spamming their moves and just reverses time when he gets the knowledge he wants to properly counter them.

If we want to be rawer with this.

He just one taps them and reverses them back to nothing.

He's probably the fastest character in the show. Early Black Clover characters were above the speed of light and this dude is the endgame boss. Plus he can bolster his speed using time.


He possesses at least 2 devil hearts which allow him to control time and gravity to his desire. People who are captain level, think of them as top tiers I guess, can't stand in the presence of the gravity and have to create magic spells just to be able to fight at all. He can rewind time, speed or slow down stuff significantly, trap people in time loops, stop time altogether, heal himself by reversing time, has future sight, he slaughtered the king of devils who was beating up the entire BC cast lmao. With gravity magic he should be able to warp space, tear apart magic, even affect intangible objects, Lucifero managed to affect dreams.




And we've yet to see his innate magic. For now the theory is that he possesses either soul or brain magic. The possibilities with either are quite threatening.

On top of all we told you with Light, Lucius guy has Future Sight, but not simple one, excluding Asta who is Anti Magic, he can see the future and set the events of the future.

So let's say he sees 20 years into the future and he decides: "Hmm war this year" and etc..

His time manipulation is also crazier than simple time reversing, he can reverse something to the state of not existing.

No one can frame Asta for asspulls.

It's stated in the first chapter of the manga on who he is, why he is like that and what type of power he has.

He has Anti Magic. Although the author thought this well so he isn't untouchable.

For example prior to the biggest power up, you just had to targed his body because if he can cut it, it's pointless.

But there are also moments where vast magic power can overpower his Anti magic because the flow of it is not too strong.

Something like All Might vs USJ Noumu.

Noumu was produced in a way to absorb everything All Might throws at it, so All Might just punched hard and fast enough it won't be able to recover and absord, etc etc.

We still need to know origins of the Anti Magic.

Usually after mutation with Devil powers, your actual magic has new affinity/applications.

Asta was magicless but his mother was not, no info on father too. We will see.

Asta, the MC, has no magic. He's an anomaly. But that was known since the first chapter. Even in the latest chapter Lucius calls him such


But due to that he can wield the anti magic swords that disrupt all magic.


But like I said we knew this since chapter 1. No asspulls here for that.
