Was Wano one of the worst arcs in One Piece? How do you rate wano?

Yamato's chances of becoming a crewmate went significantly lower the moment his fruit was revealed to be that of Wano's guardian; in my opinion, Oda exploring this went against Yamato leaving the country.

Also, I may be wrong here, but I have the feeling that Toei may not be able to afford paying Saori Hayami as a regular in a weekly show and wouldn't surprise me they hired her after Oda secretly confirmed them that Yamato wouldn't join.
Honestly I think when her devil fruit was revealed and it felt too, basic was a big indicator. Like the other straw hats had some uniqueness with their fruits and abilities, but the guardian deity just felt… lackluster in comparison.

- Main villain of Wano was a guy who gets PTSD when ever he thinks of a dead samurai from 20+ years ago
-strongest creature, got mid diffed by Luffy once he went into gear five though, but alright. At least he beats admirals.
-Lidd and Law had to jump an emperor and still would have lost, so they just threw her off the island like pussies and let Yamato knock her out :gokulaugh:
-Lidd and Law are still being built up as actual rivals to Luffy despite not mid diffing a full power yonko like he did
-Yamatomato is heavily built up to join the straw hats and go on voyages and battles with them and go against her father's expectations as the shogun of Wano
-Just becomes the pet for Momo and Kinemon, says she actually won't join despite literally saying she'll go with Luffy the very chapter before this.
-Larrot is built up as a candidate for straw hats, instead she is told to sit down and stay at Zou, no news of her stowing away again.
-Usopp and Nami get dog walked by Ulti and Page One ( who can't even beat Franky ) and have to get help from Big Mom's former pet.
What a great and not contradictory arc!!

She is a mythical zoan wolf that can conjure ice

How is that basic bruh?

Who knows, but having a bootlicking editor certainly does not help with his decision-making. :mihanha:

I am fairly confident his much hyped final panel of Wano won't get even a tear out of me. :rolaugh:
Oh yeah, wonder what that final panel will be. Perhaps, if we're lucky, Yamato is joking and she'll actually fly to their ship with Momo's help, but if that is the final panel it's still not that sad or anything, but a good save to this terrible ending.

Indeed. For a crew with a rubber power, a reindeer with an average human fruit, a woman capable of growing limbs and a seemingly useless (at first) revival ability, adding Garurumon to the mix felt weird to me. On top of that it's just another zoan, back then we had one and now we have two (both Hito Hito models, though...).

Yamato could still join in the future, but something has always bugged me about him as a crewmate.
