He has enough influence and power to demand, like, a month break per year (like he did this year) on top of his usual two weeks break per 3 chapters but his bright idea is to fuck all and rush the whole damn thing?

I agree but Japanese work culture isn't exactly well known for their mental health awareness, no!?
