Maybe that's the point

it's probably the first time where luffy's desire to not be an hero kinda makes sense. he had a job to do, while in the way he helped his little dragon friend, and then bye, on to the next thing.

we'll never know because she's never getting moments like this one
but it's not like the others are saying things out of their comfort zone. zoro wants to cut, nami wants to steal, brook wants to see laboon even tho laboon is not in the new world. if you nitpick enough none of their dialogues is very good
