Accept that it'll be closer to Peter Jackson's series than Tolkien's work. I've heard credible rumors of two love interests involving elves (who famously pair off for life save one example), one with a Numenorian Queen and the fact that Isildur has an older sister in this and thus technically would've inherited the kingdom of Arnor instead of him.
I think they're going to get a lot of minor details wrong about LOTR but they'll nail it on the familiar landscapes, sounds and sensations from the movie tribology.

Similar to what @Dark_King alluded too, With Luffy's 3 Bill idk WG sees SHs as strong enough yet to have 3 characters with over a billion berry bounty. I see Zoro's being low 1Bs even though my previous prediction was 1.4-.17 and Sanji's being 700-950 million

This retarded pleasing of minorities is ruining the Cinema and most tv shows.
Especially if you are adapting something, forcibly putting someone who doesn't fit the role just to please someone is fucking retarded.
