You cope mechanism doesn't work since Mihawk is the one with the highest bounty in the Cross Guild.

Nope bounty doesn’t equal strength

Bounties 80 percent t of the times are an indication of power and authority. Only in rare instances does it refer to something else.

For example kidds bounty pretimeskip was higher than luffys because he was more dangerous to civilians etc. However his bounty was still an indicator to his overall power.

However currently his bounty does not reflect his physical power because sit was given to him because of luffys endeavors. Same with law. It's the same with buggy. Same with ussop. Same with Robin..

People like miahwk though is a different person all together since the only thing he is even k ow for is his physical might. He doesn't aspire to be a yonko. He has no crew, subordinates, does oppose marines on the dialy. Has no underground network. Dude just stays on his island on rides in his smapp boat bothering no one

White Beard isn't a mere Yonko. Hes the WSM and was possibly stronger then the pirate king. Mihawk has shown no such interest in comparing him self to Big Mom, Kaido, or Black Beard. He explicitly thinks Shanks is beneath him Your picking and choosing when you believe Mihawk and not.

He was a mere Yonko at Marineford and he was in Mihawks face so he might as well give it a go without caring much.. He does not think that Shanks is beneath him Mihawk just doesn't want to sword duel him because he lost an arm..

Daily reminder that being a captain means you have the biggger bounty boost than "subordinate" so if Mihawk were to become a YK and captain his bounty would be considerably higher than his current one

If Shanks isn't a Swordsman why would Brannew compare Mihawk's swordsmanship to Shanks in this chapter?
Would you say "Zoro surpassed Kinemon in Swordsmanship" or would you say "Zoro surpassed Yamato in Swordsmanship"?
Which of those statements even make sense to you?
