You're assuming Kaido can withstand those temperature for long periods of time. My belief is that it doesn't even matter if Kaido and Big Meme survive, they aren't going to be showing up in the story anymore, or at least play an important role. The entire point of having the Supernovas defeat Big Meme and Kaido was to show the new age of pirates being arising, which happened after the old era (Kaido and Big Meme) was overthrown.

It's over. Don't move the goalpost. It was a enjoyable theory to imagine. But Oda had other plans. Obviously whatever initial plans were for Wano, Oda changed it. The mess he left behind in Wano is a proof of that. You are just enabling Oda by giving him the benefit of doubt where he doesn’t deserve one.
And this is the problem with following anything that is being fed gradually. The author is not above outside influence and weekly schedule allows the influence to take over. That's why Nami got demoted in favor of Sanji, Chopper turned into a mascot-only character, Yamato (pending) becomes a Straw hat and so on. With an complete book publication, the author can't go back and change things because the said thing became popular/unpopular.
Anyway, If people bet on it, they should honor it and move on. And moving forward, expect Oda to do things that satisfies most of the fandom (practically everyone and their mother was against ZKK) and not the things that few people ardently support.
Ironic. Zoro fans acted more like Luffy, holding on to the dream, while every other fandom acted like the Celestial dragons.

If you didn’t have expectations, you wouldn’t make theories. Theories are educated guesses based on hints and what one expects is the logical path of the story. In another word, if you believed in ZKK, you thought it was the logical path to Kaido's character conclusion.

I make theories based on conclusions drawn from comparing plot points, materials and reveals, without care whether I like what I discover or not
There is difference between believing in ZKK and then trying to find arguments for it, and actually doing research to see where it leads and u discover it ends with a Demon Slaying Moment

Secondly, when a theorist is wrong, I expect him/her to say that he/she was wrong. There was nothing inherently wrong with ZKK theory. But it is the failure of the theorists to concede that riles me up. You guys sound like " We weren’t wrong, we just haven’t been right yet". Accept that your theory was wrong and move on. But your "I think Zoro will kill Kaido in the final saga" feels as an attempt to justify the old theory. Which I cannot get behind. You can make theories about what more we can expect from Zoro till EoS without beating the dead horse

But just because Wano ended and I failed in predicting timing, doesn't mean I have to drop the idea of Zoro killing a Dragon which existed always, long before Kaidou got introduced even
