People need to be reminded SSG = Special Science Group = created Seraphim model pacifista based on lunarians. They are strong but they are matched against a Yami + Gura user. Maybe they might even have other inventions. Perhaps another pacifista model aftet Ogre race or his dragon df, remember they did experiments on King and Kaido.

The problem is Oda's presentation. He introduces it against the potentially strongest character rn with broken abilities.

Yep. Each of the Shichibukai had their own agendas & only cooperated when their needs were met. Mihawk showing up for the Marineford War meeting itself was a surprise to Sengoku. And then you have Crocodile & Doflamingo ruining it's reputation as well.

An army of gigantified-Lunarian artifical children does sound like a strong unit and their obedience plus sheer numbers make them a threat.

Yeah probably. Still they might have other inventions as SSG arw a group, they are called special science group likely led by Vegapunk, either produce a lot more of these Seraphim like an entire army of them, or other inventions on top of Seraphim.
