I was under the impression that he was going to be stronger than any yc1/rhm but he would lose to top tier captains.

Oda never went out of his way to highlight the YC1s outside of Katakuri (and that’s because that was Luffys opponent)

Throughout the entirety of Marineford War Jozu was just as prominent as Marco

Throughout the Wano arc King was constantly being compared to Queen.

Commanders were treated like trash compared to the high and top tiers we have remaining.

Fodder F6 level one-shot material by even indirect attacks from Sanji at this point, then, much less Zoro. Would die after getting nicked by ACoC + ACoA Tatsumaki.
