He said "if Luffy starts out as strong as Akainu"....it means that starting point of Luffy is around Akainu level not the ending point....Luffy pirate journey barely covers 3 years and Luffy was atleast 100 or more times weaker than Akainu when he started the journey...

Oda said the Series would end in a year, meaning Manga Serialization would get cancelled and he will shrink the Story into a single Year, but many people change the context and think Oda said Akainu can find OP in a Year

Akainu doesn't have protagonist plot power on his side. But if he did,(as in he was the MC) then the series could be concluded in a year. The same could be said for any top tier. Give them the power of plot, coupled with them already being at peak level, and Oda could end the series in no time.
