I was obviously wrong about Yamato, but even she mentioned multiple times that she wanted to sail with Luffy…Carrot has never said anything remotely close and was just looking for any way out when his crew showed up, plain and simple 
Carrot fans are just dying to watch them both be useless background cheerleaders, but at least Chopper is a capable doctor 
I guess that’s why he managed to leave the Florian Triangle with no trouble and sailed back to Reverse Mountain himself, I keep forgetting that all happened and he actually never met Luffy in the first place

Dude…Luffy is responsible for getting his shadow back, which proves MY point, not yours. Brook left with the guy after being asked AND finding out he knows Laboon, so that’s two points towards having a personal connection to him, which is still two points more than Carrot ever had. You still haven’t explained why she needs to be on the ship, and I think we both know it’s because there’s never been a good reason for it.
