Why do you think not being tested and being young are related? It's because they can't risk testing a young Lunarian against lasers, which literally translates to their defense getting better when they're older making them ready to get tested against lasers.

Again, this chapter legit implied it gets better with age. Lunarian defense is a racial trait plus a fire-based trick. So if they use fire to somehow fuel their defense mechanism and speed, bettering their fire prowess could help in improving it. People can train to improve their durability although there are limits based on your race. Vergo for instance is built like a tank. Jimbo is tangier than your average FM fodder. Kaido should be more or less than the same in relation to the other Oni. Being gifted with Oden's physical prowess helped Momo ignore attacks that would hurt a regular human, etc.
Because it’s literally stated, “They’re stil a kid. They haven’t been laser tested yet.”

It doesn’t imply what you’re saying.

The chapter implies the seraphim are young so they’re untested not that they’ll grow stronger.

And you’re using trained gifts like strength; but how does one train how hard their skin is? You can’t.
Not for nothing, but I doubt the WG would be able to experiment on current King, the same way they were able to do so, and torture him in the past.

Plus if every Lunarians defense was as good as Kings, it's hard to believe the race would have so easily been wiped out.

Why wouldn’t they? And yeah that’s the point lunarians are monsters but were all wiped out by something. Sanji brought this up himself.

King was not stated to be special among the lunarians.

I can understand the first and last one but how was Aramaki's personality retconned?

His design? For sure

His personality? He had 2 lines lol
When did his first scene imply that he is a Akainu fanboy ? He was talking casually with Fujitora and seemed to have an independent personality and a womanizer and rather easy going. He was more like his movie inspiration.

The Aramaki that showed up in Wano is nothing like that. Instead we got a Nazi who is gay for Akainu.
