Future Events Is Zoro set up to save the crew?

Zoro wanted a favor from Vegapunk, to fulfill this plotline Zoro either conveyed his message to Robin or will meet with Vegapunk.
To meet Vegapunk he'll has to make sure he's a good guy for him to abandon the Sunny meaning there's no one to save.
The third option is Oda pulling a Ryuma's grave
I'd prefer if he doesn't reunite with the crew and instead gets some action with Cp0, Sword, Smoker or whoever.

Combat wise yeah I agree. Zoro was given so much after he was held back during the TS.
My gripe is more about character moments & about how all the dozen or more plot threads about Zoro were just unceremoniously dropped to wrap up the end of Wano. Just off the top of my head - Ryuma's grave? Luffy is the parallel to Ryuma (lmao). Zoro family backstory? Ushimaru? Avenging Yasuie? Nidai Kitetsu? Nope, we're getting nothing about it.
Even that request... One would think that would lead to something fruitful like cures for SMILES for example... but I don't expect anything more than just another "Help us find our dumbass captain who got lost".

Lmfao that'd be such bait, that specific panel was propped up and highlighted. Something as trivial as docking the ship, shouldn't require such a prominent panel. And it serves no purpose to hide (even for Oda standards). I would understand if people get cheesed with Oda if he did that.
Btw I'm one of those people who thought the whole reaper thing on Wano was overblown the minute it happened, that one isn't Oda's fault. It was just a visualization of how much pain Zoro is about to endure. Mans thought Zoro was about to awaken a df, on some joyboy/ryuma shit lmfao. This though is legit leading readers on for nothing.

The highlight of that panel does help to cement Zoro as the #1 in the crew if Luffy isn't there.

I'd love for it to be something personal to Zoro like what happened to Yasuie, Otoko and Ebisu Town due to SMILEs but I highly, highly doubt it.

With Zoro and Sanji splitting up for insurance purposes. It makes perfect sense, and nothing would be wrong with it, but hiding the demands is what's dumb if they turn out to be those things.

Though i doubt Oda will make Zoro look bad next week with how he manages to give Zoro moments every year around his birthday week in November (conquerors coating vs king last year and 997 the previous year iirc). Then again, 4v1 might just be a bit too much.
