Yes you'd expect Aokiji have average intelligence to think the fire would have revived Saul.

If all of Vegapunk’s tech (and basically the tech of the whole world) is from the shit he read from Clover’s books he acquired 22 years ago when Ohara was destroyed, it would explain a few things

2. Rayleigh said the Marines sea prism stone lined ships that can travel across the calm belt are new technology.


3. Vegapunk discovered the lineage factor sometime before Sanji was born. Sanji is 21 years old and Ohara was destroyed 22 years ago. It’s likely Vegapunk found Clover’s books and immediately discovered lineage factors and Judge immediately used them to make the germa kids

4. Vegapunk was making cyborgs on his island and that one old man was making those Androids that look like the moon androids as well. All this likely started around 22 years ago when Vegapunk found the books

Never said saul helped her escape. It's clearly kuzan and he lied to WG that it was saul who did it

There are many methods to avoid such large scale killing. He could have just asked aokiji to freeze the sea where the ship was and specifically take out the scholar. Rather than killing innocents. Marines by no means should have right to kill innocents not even at dire situation. Its total opposite garp.
