I work in tech, 20 yrs ago they prob said women aren't interested in computers. my coworkers today, a lot happen to be women . go figure.

women having their own careers allows them to be more independent and a lot of dudes dont like that . They would rather have conditions where a woman needs to be reliant on a male provider.

and dare I say a lot of dudes tie masculinity to being the one being able to provide financially so when a woman can do that to the same extent or even better than most of them can, They feel threatened. Imo thats their fucking problem. only losers are that insecure.

To be fair, while I am not particularly one to care if a woman works or not, I don't think the attitude you're displaying neccesarily is right either.

This might be my take on it, but I think so long that both parties (the man and the woman) have the same set of values then that's really not a problem.
If a woman wants to be a stay-at-home mom, and the man wants to be the provider then there should be no problem with that either.

I think that it's wrong to say that wanting a less independent woman is bad, however I will agree that if this idea is being forced upon someone against their will that it's bad.

My point being, so long that both parties are on the same page it really doesn't matter.
