I don't understand the hate on Vegapunk. Ok he memorized all these books, but you can read all the books on termo dynamic and still don't understand a thing. You still need to be smart to understand all this Ohara shit.

He’s not a fraud in OP verse nor is he scummy.
The issue is that from a perspective of a reader the whole Vegapunk reputation sounds cheesy. No one is blaming him for reading books lol. But as a character hyped for 15 years as the most brilliant, 500 years ahead of his time etc etc, it’s still kinda hilarious that he had 2 major advantages limited only to him.

He’s no longer special, nor worked harder than the other MADS necessarily. If these tools were available to the other team members we would have had the same result, which is not something you expect after this hype.

I said it last chapter and this chapter proves me right. Vegapunk, Ceasar, Judge and Queen are all elite with VP probably possessing the highest potential.

I compared them to Formula One drivers. Vettel, Hamilton, Verstappen and Alonso are all elite and the vehicle (resources) make the difference.

If you put them all in the best car I'd say Vegapunk is the best. He has the highest potential.

Put them all in the worst car perhaps Judge is the best as he can do the most with the least amount of resources.

Without memory there’s no intelligence period. Memory is what you use to enact your intelligence, and the more memory you have the more intelligent your decisions are considering these decisions are enacted from information and experiences stored in your memory.
