I think something people aren't really considering is the following: Knowledge is worthless if you lack the capacity to enact it.

Vegapunk's genius was highlighted back during the timeskip. Even -before- discovering Clover's records he was already inventing wonders beyond the modern-day One-Piece world. However, what truly distinguishes a man like Vegapunk is his ability to comprehend scientific principles. When you read a science book, do you always understand what you're reading? Imagine a caveman who could somehow read, would they be able to understand how computers work? How electricity does? I sincerely doubt it.

Vegapunk and a select few others are likely the only people on the planet who can understand the scientific principles underpinning the Ancient Kingdom's technology. Sure, it's not the same as creating it all himself, but everything mankind builds is often on the back of a pre-existing concept that was formulated by our predecessors. He is simply doing what scientists and men of intellect have always done.

Vegapunk is an absolute genius. His fruit simply allows him to retain more than your average person. It is still his intellect that allows him to understand it and then bring it to reality in a world lacking in all the conveniences that the past Ancient Kingdom likely had. It's why he needed the WG. He needed their money and resources so he could build his inventions from the ground up.

His df doesn't change anything, do you get it?:endthis:
His df doesn’t contribute to his intelligence because memory doesn’t contribute to intelligence??? This is your actual argument that you want me to consider?

what do I even say? I can help find you a YouTube video explaining what intelligence is but then you also have the ability to just Google this and yet you aren’t so clearly you are just talking out of your ass

I got 145 as an asperger, I don't give a flying fucks about what you think, get some reading skill and here is your chapter, it's the 592:endthis:
What drawbacks did Vegapunk get from the fruit… Your 145 must be able to explain that… and it should also explain why you forgot that half the fuckin questions in it tests are recognition and recall that are entirely based on memory

He’s a genius among geniuses no one is denying that, no one is comparing him to the average citizen, but here’s the issue:

He’s not a fraud in OP verse nor is he scummy.
The issue is that from a perspective of a reader the whole Vegapunk reputation sounds cheesy. No one is blaming him for reading books lol. But as a character hyped for 15 years as the most brilliant, 500 years ahead of his time etc etc, it’s still kinda hilarious that he had 2 major advantages limited only to him.

He’s no longer special, nor worked harder than the other MADS necessarily. If these tools were available to the other team members we would have had the same result, which is not something you expect after this hype.
