This is my analysis why there have been frequent draws in this world cup :
Smaller Nations have learnt the art of strong defense is only way to keep top tier teams from scoring . This was tested when iran and costarica when their defense sucked they literally got ass whopped by their opponent . Park the bus entire team tahts the way to go frustrate the opposition (Argentina is best example after losing to saudis).
Also i think many doubted French team capability this summer without benzy,pogba,kante but looks like the depth of this team is still insane . France are still favorites to me following with Spain and Brazil.
