Tbh, this panic is unwarranted.

First, it's just a social media platform. Don't know why people are fuking losing their sleep over it as if their whole existence depends on it.

Second, private companies are based on one motive - profits. Laying of employees isn't the sign of Twitter shutting down or elon doesn't care but he is going for cost -cutting to make Twitter more profitable.

Twitter isn't performing well in terms of revenue and elon who invested 44B$ has every right to make it profitable.

Yes, his idea of Blue tick back fired but again this was done with the same mindset and in business not all of your ideas pay results.


He will pull everything in his hands to ensure Twitter gives him money and (people who are panicking will give him) before he even dreams of shutting it down.

Musk has been part of paypal mafia he knows internet than most of the ceo.

I was planning to register on Twitter early this year, it's a good thing I changed my mind and deleted it after a while. And sticked elsewhere instead. Yes I didn't quit the Internet entirely, just this forum because of Oda's poor management, foremostly.

I used to appreciate Elon Musk, he didn't invent Tesla but invested on it and other useful technological means, yet he recently revealed himself as a selfish dictator with a huge lack of empathy.

Elon Musk reminds me of someone when it comes to that trait, both seem to care to their own interest and persona more than they care about other people and their feelings, no matter how much they worked to improve themselves over the years, that doesn't count, no. I entrust @Natalija with the mission to refer that to him.

And since I have your attention, did you know that if infinities are real there could be infinite me and infinite WG in the multiverse? Infinite beta with infinite worthless 6 digit post counts made because he was bored and wanted to kill time despite not reading the manga.

A man ruined my reputation on this site for actions committed several years earlier. Yes those facts had previously been spread, a few of them being inflated too, because fake news often get in the middle of real news for one reason or another, and despite accusing others doesn't make me better, that still made me really angry, so much I genuinely considered to file a legal suit and that was with cold mind over the months.

It's like as if I went back into the past when I was a totally different person, people were shitting on me as if I was still the same I had been many years earlier which was no more true, but yes I think these months without WG did me more good than anything else overall.

Now I will go back to my time machine and maybe wait months or years and spectate the evolution of WG as a third party.

I dont agree with his mass layoffs and his nature of work is more startup culture its either you work all night or get fired. He indeed succeeded with spacex ,tesla with the same mantra . I do think twitter is in safe hands if he can run multiple companies really well.

Don't get me wrong, I admire Elon Musk to a degree, because he is helping civilization advance and definitely speeding up the process. I hope for him and for humanity that Neuralink will succeed and that he will bring humanity to Mars. The transition to electric cars has potential too.

Yet I think there is legit criticism going on about his poor choices with managing thousands of people working on Twitter since years who didn't deserve to be fired like that on top of several questionable behaviours from what I have heard.

I'm about to finish my bachelor's degree and I might end up working for a technological company too one day.

Get off the internet, stop craving attention, get your degree, move on with your life. Your rep was ruined years ago and was well spread in WG. I didn't know about your past until I joined this site and members told me. Majority of people knew, We just didn't say anything and so many of us had you blocked and/or didn't care much.

Before and after, your rep was that of a weirdo/online incel.. It's a good thing you thought rationally cause you would have ruined your entire life if you did. It would have an open trial where everyone can see your face, and you would've been banned from the internet and placed on probation. Of course it did cause you're no longer distracted by the constant attention craving that youre obsessed with here. You shouldn't give a fuck about Twitter either, as it will only impede your journey to have real and stable social relationships. Twitter and Elon got nothing to do with you. You clearly have a passion/strong interest for technology in general, and leaving WG would finally give you the time to actually obtain your passion instead of talking about it actually for the past 7 or 8 years.

Also quick tip: if you truly intend to persue engineering whether its electrical, chemical, robotics or whatever, learn economics. Global economics can help you decide with spectrum of engineering you want to be your primary skill.

That's funny, I actually worked to do the opposite by encharging people to watch my back while I'm out so I could stop caring about having to worry about negativity being spread about me, either it was real news or fake news because some real news have always been inflated.

I never stated about the engineering prowess, just that I was smart, and my comments on being attractive were more of a joke because I don't even really think I am. If I was attractive I would have probably taken different life choices.

I legitimately threatened to take legal action against anyone who would eventually bring stuff up again, at least if it also had serious repercussions outside the site which I'm no more really interested in, in that case I would obviously proceed legally expecially if affecting real life sphere because this Van guy still doesn't understand that defamation applies when fake news about someone are spread and simply having ''vocal evidence'' isn't enough, and also randomly mentioning about past actions even if real that are still detrimental to the changed guy when there's no need to is a form of harassment and bullying nevertheless. Yet the meme Van thinks I would immediately lose the cause.

Also don't worry, I don't care about Twitter or other socials, in fact I used Twitter months ago for a little while then deleted if you didn't read and my Facebook is also pretty much dead.

Nah that was the right call, again twitter was overstaffed ( way more than all the big tech companies ).

He wants to pursue this " battle for free speech " not sure where he wants to go with that but since the previous management department of twitter wasn't really building that.

So firing most ( if not all lol ) of them was justified, and on the developers part, the front end is not so complicated u just need some really good back ends

Him buying twitter and doing all these " crazy things " is getting a lot of attention and generating activity on twitter, he needs to ride that wave very fast so yeah he's pretty much in a startup phase, " we either work all day to pull it off or i just lost 44 Bil"

He also wants to build this " everything app " which is something i heard talking about for quite some time, i'm genuinely curious as a developer, we've had clients coming with this idea from time to time but when we gave them the estimate they thought we were crazy ( yeah it was a matter of working all day xD )

Yeah the guy is weird but cmon he's sending rockets to space, and wants to start the colonization of mars, that is QUITE the ambition, whatever he is trying to do with twitter i'm sure he's ALL IN in this ( cuz u have to be on that level )



This guy is pretty much a polititian man, the difference is that he's not elected by anyone so he owes nothing to no one but he has the " power " to influence the world to a certain degree.....
