I think an asskicking could do the job. The SHs didn‘t fight any Admiral post timeskip yet. They ran from Fuji and Shanks took care of Ryoku. So yeah.

It depends on what attack he used. It's not like G5 attacks are mountain busters or anything. Some of them are weaker than G4 attacks.

G5 regular punches = base punches.
Unless using buffed muscles, G4 mechanism or Giant form, Luffy's strength is the same.

Kizaru being in this arc would make sense, the only reason why I see Oda not having him in this arc is because he is saving him for the final arc.

Essentially what I believe is either the arc is short or must be Kizaru/Kuma/Sentoumaru centric on the antagonist scale since that is entirely what ties Vegapunk's plotline together.
