We all know that one piece is shonen manga, but one thing Oda should realise that it has been over two decades since op started and now most of his audience is adult people.

Most of his audience has grown up, plus we are now at the end game. Writing cartoonish scenes at this point of story kills the tension and mood of the story.

The perfect example would be Kaido vs Gear 5. Honestly for me it was huge let down. All the build up of wano was destroyed.

Nowdays one piece is :

3-4 chapters between the arc > The whole arc

I don't think Luffy even did anything outside of gear 5. Awakenings don't exactly seem like they have any drawbacks so I think unless something happens he's just going to jump into gear 5 off rip every time hes in a fight now.

He’s an awakened zoan, they’re supposed to have extremely high endurance.

If just a few ACoC punches in base could take out Lucci, using G5 is pointless.

There's a bit of a difference between someone like Lucci and freaks of nature like Kaido and Big Mom lol

Like I don't see Usopp being able to tank several ACoC hits if he were to gain an awakened zoan fruit right now
