Might be. Although I'd prefer if he just meets with Zoro first. Zoro serves no purpose story wise after Wano. If there is anything left for him it's becoming the strongest he can for Luffy. Stopping Kizaru for some time might do the trick. + A little revenge for Sabaody but not like beating Kizaru.

This would add some tension to the arc. Like what the fuck CP-0 gonna do to Luffy and Seraphims if they jump them?

Kizaru vs Zoro news will break out and every SH group will have hands full of work so they can't gather at first.

Even if Kizaru crosses from there, it's more likely that Kizaru ignores him and joins the actual battle while Zoro defends the Sunny from his subordinates

Honestly this is best place to squeeze in an Admiral fight before Zoro/Sanji end up fighting Fuji/Ryo while Luffy takes on Akainu.

I'm not sure where we go after this arc (either directly to Blackbeard or something else like Elbaf which just starts to lead us to Laugh Tale), but having Luffy defeat an Admiral now at least paves the way for Akainu and eventually the rest of the Yonko (before or after)

Yet that information on Roger's sword being called Ace only came from a vivre card and not even the manga. By your own criteria that information should have be released as as soon Roger was introduced.

Not necessarily for a powerlevel reason, but Oda can easily come up with a situation in which the SH have to escape from Egghead (to save Vega, or maybe because Im is gonna blow up the place like he/she did with that island some chapters ago, or whatever).
I just see this as the perfect occasion for Kuma to sacrifice himself for letting her daughter lives.

As I said, this, or Kizaru is gonna get stomped by a legit Emperor crew.
