You didn't answer my question. Why is it bad writing if Luffy defeats an Admiral. Akainu is his main enemy in the Marines, defeating his subordinate beforehand is not a problem. It actually fits the mold for past fights.

Luffy defeats a YC, then Zoro and Sanji defeat YCs. Luffy defeating an Admiral paves the way for Zoro and Sanji to fight Fuji and Ryo. That is logic that fits.

I'm sorry it's just not the matchup people want I guess?

I think some people though all the admirals would get beat in the final war or close together .
Truth is i also once though that but at this point anything goes.

Only high-end quake attacks require stances, and let's not pretend like K-room attacks are instantaneous; Law needs to imbue his sword with K-Room too. Again, Law's sword extended long enough to stab BB, so the only reason why it didn't is that BB deflected it so it wouldn't stab him.

BB literally did the stance for an attack that failed to even take out fodder in the same chapter. Checkmate

Why didn't they just take the alley and leave the country?

The fact that they are in Udon would be to:

1st - wait for a possible return of Kaidou.

2nd - Recover from your wounds.

3rd - They were arrested.

It doesn't fit the mold. Zoro and Sanji fought entirely defeat YCs to the ones Luffy defeated, do you think Kizaru's role in the story will be done after Egghead? Kizaru's not losing to the same group twice. i.e lose to Luffy then lose again to Zoro/Sanji.

Semantics. YCs are not Admirals. Admirals are very clearly stronger. And theres only 1 group of Marines and 4 groups of Yonko.

And yes, I think his role is done after Egghead unless he takes the role of a former defeated Villain with some relevance now. Kizaru had history with Sentoumaru and Vegapunk. That's why he's coming here. He's not going to just let Luffy leave with Vegapunk and there's no way to escape him with his powers.

He literally would have to lose here in order for them to leave. It's not that hard to understand.

Oh Kizaru is coming.....very nice.....but people are expecting him to fight Zoro....I don't think we will have a full fight against admiral in this arc...at best it is to show the growth of SH from saboady to till now....

Luffy didn't fight in Tom and Jerry way , he only needed one shot to finish the Job .
