The fruit was created by someone else's desire, not luffy.

If DFs come from willpower/desire or whatever, how can Vegapunk clone DFs ? There has to be some physical aspect to DFs to allow Vegapunk to copy them.

Will/desire bring them into existence but the devil fruit itself is still a tangible thing that can be recreated

And don't devil fruits change a person's lineage factor? To copy the devil fruit abilities you just have to reproduce those changes
