that is not what I said...when I said yonko should look like yonko, I mean on equal status with admirals at this point because yonko = admirals more or less...it will never be easy for Luffy against admirals....Luffy struggling against admirals is fine and justifiable
So why should he not struggle against a high ranking and infamous CP0 or WG member? The WG is bound to have some powerful forces as well, else they wouldn‘t have ruled the world for 800 years…and they‘re still developing their weapons and training their fighters.
Literally the comment of the new arc stated Luffy will finally take on the WG and that‘s what this arc is about. It isn‘t the Yonkou Saga anymore, guys…
Gotta love how G5 went from "pinnacle of Luffy's power" (from Goofy himself) to base Luffy tier but with better stretching ability on WG. It's not like awakened zoan are known to boost every stat, after all.

It‘s funny how people who don‘t even like Luffy now want him to be super strong because Yonkou. Pathetic. I‘m fine with him struggling. His opponents being almost as strong or even stronger than him is a lot more fun.

If you want a story with a god MC who is strongest in the verse go read Noblesse or sth. But One Piece is not that kind of story. Even Naruto wasn‘t since he still faced challenges.

Luffy is on that path, he already is among the strongest characters, unless thry are a yonko or another admiral or another character comparable to them.
A guy who Luffy needed 2 power ups for pre timeskip giving him a hard time now after having the same time Luffy did to train is not even inconsistent, though.
