I used to think Big Mom was Moriah due to the df and island theme similarities (albeit Moriah prob has the better fruit tbh), but this sounds even more accurate.

Probably even Oda recognized he was too much of a clown when he draw the Luffy vs Kaido fight and now he is trying to patch it.

Also probably he doesn't want to troll Lucci the moment of his reintroduction, even if he had no problems with Greenbull, that is probably because at this point there are too much admirals in the story, so he used the last one to hype Shanks and his movie, who knows.

Luffy is just not fighting Lucci at the same level he fought Kaido at.

No!
I complained about Wano but praised this arc, and it has been good so far only if Oda keeps up this pace and resolves the plots within 25-30 chapters (especially the Sabo situation, BB vs Law, and Kuma + Dragon).
I am still mad at him for off-screening Reverie, and it was the first big moment of Rev Army, ye he showed nothing.
He used them as a teaser, just like Shanks at the end of Wano.
Luffy is my 2nd favorite and the only SH I like.

Kaidou got the short end of the stick. Bigmom has nice backstory and was not a villain in WCI for a change. Kaidou was too shallow and used as a punching bag for Oda samurai/japanese nationalist fetish.
