I think usopp and Luffy ruined it for me.

Usopp literally ran out on people in need that helped him and Luffy basically did everything a pirate wouldn't do by rejecting achohol and underlings. Even fuji betrayed his honor as a marine by just being luffys lusty lover.

One piece is a shonen story directed towards teenage boys whose main interests when it comes to OP are Power scalling, big boobs and good fighting scenes.
