- The challenge is supposed to be demonstrated in front of Big Mom. That is the reason why Kaido gathered them to meet big mom.
- Kaido wants to show strength of flying six to big mom
- If one of Flying Six win against the calamities, they can replace the respective All-Star

If these spoilers are true, Kaido expect and trust a lot into the flying six if he really want to show Big mom their strenght.
Overall this line even make sense, since Kaido want show Big mom the flying six already in chapter 976.
But the hype for the flying six still increase a lot, of course the fight don´t gonna start because of the alliance but in that case Oda perfectly hype already the flying six. I read even comments where people though Sasaki and Who´s Who bounties are at least in same range as Jack, in that case it would make sense.

Jack is going to lose to Inu/Neko for his crimes against the Minks.

Nothing else makes sense or satisfies narratively.

To want something and to be like that are different things

Drake is Law, Kid or base Luffy level now if you remember how Cracker or Kata owned base Luffy then you see the difference in the skills between them
Another example Jozu vs Kuzan while Kuzan stomped him
Jack sank two giant battleships and even though he faced an entire fleet his ship didnt sank nor did he die
There is a gulf in skill between them and the All-Stars
Sanji on the other hand in his RS is no match for them at all

sanji was sitting on the roof in plain sight while zoro ran to the forest and retreated LOL!!!

Sanji went to wano thinking he will face samurai but instead face two anicent zoan who are Yonko commander canidates its hilarous. No wonder Sanji is so cocky kicking fodder with his eyes closed while zoro took out two sword + enma to beat fodder.

I can already see the twist, the Flying six manage to find Kaido son and bring him to the teaparty(of course without fighting him most like)
Then before they get the chance to fight the Calamities, the alliance attacking or get catch, then Kaido change his mind and give the Flying six the order to take them all down, to prove Big mom how strong his troup are. They are the first step of the war.

It makes no sense, they're both Fishman but... Being a fishman has always been a background feature for Jack. Let Jack fight the Dukes who he crippled, and let them work together and overcome past differences to beat their nemesis. It's so much better for the story.

He lacks DC to damage Mammoth Jack or Queen

He got the speed and durability via suit, but the lack in DC is a huge nerf for the cook
