Yeah, but the point is, it's all of the higher ups. The Admirals and Vice Admirals. Lower soldiers, no matter their stance, have to follow command. Akainu was willing to blow Coby's head off for asking to save Marine lives. Soldiers who comply will simply get executed by the higher ranked Marines. Compliance is the same as complicity
Yeah, I’m sure that’s why Shanks sailed across the whole ocean and begged Whitebeard to protect him from Blackbeard lol. Because Shanks could’ve easily defeated Blackbeard so that’s why he lives his life in perpetual fear of fruitless Blackbeard lol.
Also, Blackbeard didn’t want to fight the whole Red Hair Pirates, he didn’t care about Shanks. Same thing with Aramaki, he never once commented on Shanks but on the Red Hairs as a whole.
You know, because nobody in the canon gives a single fuck about Shanks since Shanks’ crew is always protecting him from getting clubbed to death by Civilian level opponents.
See my answer above. It being all of the higher ranked officers makes it worse, since lower ranking officers have to fall to command. Those in the Marines who dictate the course, are ruthless and evil.
While nearly every single pirate is ruthless and evil. Navy officers are bound by rules, rules the pirates don't have. They won't face consequences which is why the Navy exists. You've forgotten that nearly every single Navy officer wants to protect the innocent people of the world.
Who is there to prevent pirates from committing crimes? The Navy.
Also. All the examples you've mentioned are exceptions. How many people have died at all of the buster calls we know so far ?
And how high is the number of citizens pirates killed in all those years ?
The initial point was about the percentage of people with ill or good intentions. Most pirates in the OP world do what they do because they're criminals and enjoy their crimes such as pillaging, raping etc while most young men and women join the Navy because they want to protect the innocent people from those guys.
Whether the CD discriminate this or that has nothing to do with the people on the lowest level nor does it say anything about their personality.
The percentage matter makes zero sense since those with power influence those whom are weaker. Thus the percentage of those thinking like admirals increases lol.
Because he has no affiliation with Ace, while Ace is close to Whitebeard, his (adoptive) son and second divison commander. You have a hard time understanding context do you. Lmao.
You mean the same Blackbeard that fearlessly challenged Marineford and wanted to go solo against Garp + Sengoku, didn't feel comfortable to face the Red Hair Pirates while being backed up by his own crew (including the strongest ID prisoners + Shiryu)?
