How disappointed would you be if Zoro vs King, Sanji vs Queen, and Jinbe vs Jack don’t happen and they instead fight Tobi Roppo?

Sanji vs Page One/another Tobi Roppo and Jinbe vs Sasaki wouldn't disappoint me at all.

If Zoro fights Whos Who and no one else, I would be pretty disappointed in the manga. I don't think I would drop it, but I just might. It would be very frustrating experience to live through.

If the forum proves itself insufferable enough, I just might drop OP. Especially as it's the reason I'm still following along.

Why would Zoro vs WsW be bad but not Sanji vs P1? They’re not that far off in strength, and P1 is weaker than WsW

Why is Jinbe vs Sasaki alright but Zoro vs Whos Who a manga dropping inducing fight ? Because of pure bias or because you rate Zoro too high ? Nothing wrong with the bias part, just curious.

The last part is the opposite of what i'm doing lol. The forum/discord is the only reason i maintain mild interest in OP.

Zoro remotely, because his real opponent is Kaido

Sanji none since I expect calamities to be too stronk for him

I don't think jimbei will fight jack. I think he'll fight smoothie.
And I'd be very disappointed if sanji and zoro didn't fight calamities. I guess it also depends on the strenght of the tobi roppo.

I know many people want to see supernovas shine, I'd rather see the straw hats shine, it's been a while since they've all been together for a final battle.

I wouldn't be disappointed becasue Oda would make sure Zoro fights the second strongest NO MATTER WHAT.

If Zoro doesn't fight the Calamities then that means there's someone stronger than the calamities on the Enemy side under kaido. Simple as that.

Why do you guys want zoro to fight calamities and even kaido while sanji takes on some underling of underlings of kaido?
The bias is a bit too much here.

Well whatever gave you the opinion that I believed this?

Reasons it's especially bad for Zoro though:

• Wano is as close to a Zoro centric arc as we're gonna get.
• Zoro has a lot to live up to this arc, Ryuma's will, Oden, Hiyori, Yasu, etc.
• Zoro is a fighter first and foremost.
• Sanji hasn't had a single full fledged fight in the New World that he won alone. I've stopped expecting decent combat showings from him. Sanji not fighting a calamity wouldn't surprise me.

That's what I said. If being a Z boi becomes insufferable, I'll just stop following OP.



In addition to what I said above regarding Sanji, there's also this:

I did have Pre Enma Zoro in mid high tier though.

I don't think having high expectations in general is very healthy, look what happened to Sanji fans in WCI. Zoro hasn't done much for an arc that is supposedly centered on him. But i appreciate the honesty, i don't care about OP beyond power levels either, haven't checked a single full chapter in almost a year.

He's done the most outside of Luffy. I mean as far as I can tell, the last arc to have to much Zoro involvement compared to the rest of the strawhats was whiskey peak. And the only reason that happened was Zoro having an offhand connection to Baroque works from like before the series even started.

Like surely you noticed that act 2 literally ends with a montage of the war preparations starting and literally only Luffy and Zoro have multiple panels of training. Like why isn't Zoro slotted in with the rest of strawhats who have "offscreen training" if his fights somehow don't matter

I’d be very disappointed, to be honest. But the more I think about it, the more I’m confident it will happen, it has to. If Luffy wants to be the PK and wants his crew to surpass Shanks’, it’s now or never. They can’t fight Admirals or BB’s Commanders EoS if they don’t respectively get to YC1, YC2 and YC3 level, it makes no sense. We can’t forget they’re meant to equal the likes of Roger, Oden, Rayleigh and Gaban at the very least.

Very, very disappointed, maybe even drop the manga. I've been waiting for Zoro (especially) and Sanji's fights for few years. Like @Princeley said, it's now or never. Either they fight Calamities and prove themselves as the real threat and Yonko Level crew, or they fight fodders like F6, Numbers, Kanjuro(hi Monkey D Theories) and Luffy will drag their fodder asses through the New World to the end of manga.

First of all

BB commanders arent that strong, they are also growing.
They are not meant to equal Ray Oden
Sanji and Zoro arent conquerors

Wano :
Enma + training --> Zoro becomes solid YC level
Vs WhoWho (Mid high tier ) or King (high high tier) ---> Zoro becomes high/top high tier
Vs Teach :
Shiryu (Top high tier/Inbetweener) ---> zoro becomes low top/Inbetweener
Vs WG :
Fuji (admiral ) ---> Zoro becomes admiral level

Zoro will be WSS vs Shiryu or Fuji

I wouldn't have a problem if those were they're warmups and solo fights before the calamities
