They seem to be heavily feathered.

I'm unaware if they had the same complex feathers on their tails and adorning their arms. But yeah, they were very derived theropods. They are close relatives to the lineages that birds descend from.

That would be lazy writing on his part I think. There are so many ancient zoans to choose from, it shouldn't be hard to identify specific ones that complement a character's fighting style and/or fits their personality/appearance.

Well he already got Spinosaurus wrong and King's Pteranodon is horribly inaccurate. Drake's Allosaurus, from a size view, looks more like a crocodile than a theropod.

I wouldn't expect Oda to do research here.

About Who's Who's DF, wouldn't a raptor be most fitting for him? They were very fast and they could actually use their arms. I think it makes the most sense for a swordsman.

Sasaki to me looks like a stegosaurus or ankylosaurus user. He's the "buffest" of the group and doesn't come across as someone who uses much speed but leans more into strong durability and endurance. If Oda is just using the popular dinosaurs, I expect one of those two to be here. Most people know about them and tbh, only Sasaki looks like he'd fit.

Edit: just realized that there are a lot of different types of raptors. Velociraptor for Who's Who to specify. It follows the logic of what I said as well as the popular route.

A bear is too robust. It'd maul the Raptor with its paw and hurt its face horribly.

Who's Who could be a ceratopsian, given his horns atop his head. Don't see him as a raptor honestly. He seems like a bigger guy than a quicker guy.

I don't think all the Tobi Roppo need to have similar sizes. Most combat would be done in hybrid form anyway, and those are pretty humanoid and around the original height of the individual.

The Pteranodon doesn't have a duclaw, doesn't have pointy wings. Spinosaurus is way too large. This is a good, modern look at the spinosaurus.

I think the legs should be a little longer (since the 2014 study) but it wasn't as tall as once believed.

Eh, they all have horns minus Drake. Not the greatest evidence to use or are you talking about the shape of it? Ceratopsian doesn't really sound right at all for a swordsman. I see King as the best reference for how Oda would do Who's Who. A dinosaur that has more speed + mobility than raw power.

I think the Tobi Roppo are all fights for the Samurai. Sasaki vs Kawamatsu, Who's Who vs Denjiro, rest I ain't sure about.
